Joseph drew attention to recent instances of extravagant expenditures, stating, “Under this administration, the nation’s legislative body, the National Assembly, allocated funds for luxurious cars, amounting to over N160 million per lawmaker. Furthermore, we have been informed that the President is allocating over N5 billion for a yacht, along with a substantial budget for the Office of the First Lady to purchase high-end cars. This, he argued, comes at the expense of the Nigerian population, already struggling with the burden of high fuel prices and the soaring cost of living, with no relief in sight.”<\/p>\n

The activist expressed his view that the President cannot expect Nigerians to endure and persevere while the government continues to engage in lavish spending. He emphasized his belief in Nigeria’s potential to become a great nation and urged the President to consider the legacy he intends to leave behind. Joseph implored the President to become a change agent who would be remembered in Nigeria’s history as someone who initiated a transformation, one that should begin immediately.<\/p>\n
