Continuing his global ascent, Asake has announced the release date for his upcoming album &#8216;Lungu Boy,&#8217; set for August 9, 2024. This album will feature an array of superstars, including Grammy-winning Nigerian icon Wizkid, British rappers Central Cee and Stormzy, American sensation Travis Scott, and Brazilian singer Ludmila.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Lungu Boy&#8217; follows a series of high-profile collaborations from Asake, who has recently worked with Zlatan, Ayra Starr, Victony, Tems, and Central Cee. In 2024, Asake released &#8216;Only Me&#8217; and &#8216;Wave,&#8217; featuring Central Cee, which is one of the tracks on the new album.<\/p>\n<p>The album release precedes Asake&#8217;s upcoming &#8216;Lungu Boy&#8217; tour, which will include stops at the renowned O2 Arena, a venue he headlined in 2023, and the iconic Madison Square Garden, making him only the fourth Nigerian artist to headline there.<\/p>\n<p>This upcoming release will mark Asake&#8217;s third album in three years, solidifying his reputation as an era-defining superstar.
