In a related development, Minister Wike addressed the protests during a ceremonial event where he presented the Staff of Office to four newly coronated Chiefs of Karu, Kwali, Pai, and Yaba in Abuja. Wike used the occasion to appeal to the protesters, who have been mobilizing since August 1, to engage in dialogue with the government.
