in a statement signed by Gboyega Akosile, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Sanwo-Olu firmly disassociates himself and the Lagos State Government from these inflammatory and dangerous messages. He emphasizes that Lagos is a home for all Nigerians, regardless of ethnic background, and such rhetoric is harmful and divisive. The Governor views the post as a deliberate attempt to disrupt the harmony between the Yoruba people and other ethnic groups, particularly those who have made Lagos their permanent residence.<\/p>\n
In light of this, Governor Sanwo-Olu appeals to Lagosians to remain vigilant and not let any individual or group incite discord in the state. He has urged security agencies to investigate the origins of the post and take appropriate legal action against those responsible.<\/p>\n
