This decision is in alignment with the agency&#8217;s recently revised arrest and bail procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Dele Oyewale, the Head of Media and Publicity for EFCC, released a statement outlining the Chairman&#8217;s directive. Olukoyede made this announcement in Abuja on Wednesday, responding to an incident in which operatives of the Ibadan Zonal Command apprehended 69 individuals suspected of internet fraud in Ile-Ife, Osun State.<\/p>\n<p>The EFCC clarified that, in line with the new procedures, many of the suspects detained by the Ibadan Command have already been properly profiled and subsequently released.
