This decision, adopted by the Federal Executive Council, aims to stabilize fuel pump prices and the dollar-Naira exchange rate.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Dangote Refinery needs 15 cargoes of crude, costing $13.5 billion annually, with NNPC committed to supplying four cargoes. The FEC has approved that 450,000 barrels intended for domestic use be sold in Naira to Nigerian refineries, starting with Dangote Refinery.<\/p>\n<p>The statement also mentioned that the exchange rate would be fixed for the duration of this transaction.
