Undoubtedly, protests in Nigeria could mar our efforts at addressing these challenges.”

Aliyu emphasized that Nigerians should learn from the adverse experiences of protests in other countries and avoid similar pitfalls. He stressed the need for introspection and honesty, noting that the discontentment and disillusionment among Nigerians are real and must be addressed by the government.

“The JNI is compelled to make this clarion call and passionate plea to all concerned parties. We have stated times without number in our previous press releases, that food security is synonymous with home security.”

Aliyu urged the Federal Government to secure the country, provide subsidized farming materials, promote industrialization, and create self-sustaining agro-businesses in the six geopolitical zones. Additionally, he called for enhanced quality education, especially in primary, technical, and vocational sectors.

“We pray for guidance, protection, good health, and peace for all leaders, and for tranquility to prevail in Nigeria. May God, the Most High, also provide the quickest relief to all problems bedeviling the Nigerian state.”

He highlighted the urgency of addressing the recent calls for protests due to food insecurity, inflation, abject poverty, and escalating national security challenges.

The Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) has urged the Federal Government and the organizers of the planned protest to engage in urgent and realistic dialogue to prevent the situation from deteriorating into uncontrollable chaos. In a statement released on Friday, the Secretary General of JNI, Prof. Khalid Aliyu, acknowledged the severe challenges Nigerians are facing […]

[172

post-40687","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news
["GET
