The Oyo State Post-Primary School Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has announced that the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for candidates applying for teaching and non-teaching positions in the state’s public secondary schools will be held from July 29 to August 2. This announcement was made on Thursday in Ibadan by Pastor Akinade Alamu, the Chairman of TESCOM, who provided an update on the recruitment process aimed at filling 10,000 vacancies within the state\u2019s education sector.<\/p>\n
According to Pastor Alamu, a total of 62,000 candidates have applied for the positions. Among them, 12,000 are vying for non-teaching roles while 50,000 have applied for teaching positions. The CBT will be conducted at two locations: the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Center and the CBT Center in Ajibode.<\/p>\n
Candidates are advised to use the designated job portal to check their specific exam dates and times. They are also instructed to print out their CBT schedules and passport-holding application forms from the employment portal.<\/p>\n
Pastor Alamu emphasized that applicants should not linger at the examination centers and must adhere strictly to the time and date assigned to them.
