Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has called for the repatriation of Simon Ekpa, a Finland-based Biafra agitator, accusing him of terrorizing and murdering residents in Nigeria’s South-East.<\/p>\n

Ekpa, who claims to be the Prime Minister of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has allegedly been linked to violent attacks and the enforcement of illegal sit-at-home orders in the region.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
During a meeting with the House of Representatives Committee on National Security and Intelligence in Enugu, Governor Mbah labeled Ekpa a “scammer” profiting from the suffering of the Igbos.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is surprising that the Finnish government allows this man to reside peacefully in their country and then perpetrate terrorism in Nigeria,\u201d Mbah said. \u201cAnd I think this is something your committee may have to wade into and see how this guy can be repatriated and then be brought to justice.”<\/p>\n

Governor Mbah accused Ekpa of inciting violence through his statements and actions, resulting in numerous deaths. He stressed the importance of addressing this issue to prevent further tragedy.<\/p>\n

Mbah also highlighted that his administration has ended the illegal sit-at-home orders in Enugu State and is committed to ensuring the safety of all residents. He urged the youth in the South-East not to be swayed by Ekpa\u2019s tactics and assured that the state government would not be intimidated by threats from agitators.<\/p>\n
