The vow was made by the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Bala Mohammed, during the opening of the forum\u2019s meeting held on Wednesday at the Government House in Enugu.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bala Mohammed emphasized the significance of the meeting, describing it as unique and ambitious in the history of the party. He highlighted the purpose of the gathering: \u201cToday we are here to unify ourselves, discuss issues that affect the party and various matters within ourselves. Our agenda will go through governance across party administration, discuss inter-party affairs, congress, and other things we need to do in providing credible alternatives to Nigerians.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The meeting included not only PDP governors but also other party stakeholders, including the national working committee and various organs of the party. Mohammed expressed concern about the national situation, stating, \u201cOur assessment has shown at the national level that the country is driving toward anarchy. We will not allow that because we share history, we share the aspiration for Nigerians. It is high time the party reclaimed its leadership position in all the states that are currently being occupied by other parties.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He also commended Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State for hosting the meeting and taking care of the participants since their arrival on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Notable attendees included Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Umo Eno of Akwa-Ibom, Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Godwin Obaseki of Edo, Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau, Agbu Kefas of Taraba, and Dauda Lawal of Zamfara States.
