Former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following his official induction into the party. Anyim, accompanied by supporters from Ebonyi State, joined the APC on Saturday, July 13, 2024.<\/p>\n
In a statement, Anyim described the event as a humbling experience, noting the warm reception he and his fellow Ebonyi State residents received. He extended his thanks to various APC leaders for their presence and support.<\/p>\n
“It was, for me, a humbling experience to witness the warm reception accorded me and our people of Ebonyi State when we were received into the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday, the 13th of July,” Anyim stated.<\/p>\n
Anyim expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC National Chairman Abdulahhi Umar Ganduje, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Ebonyi State Governor Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Imo State Governor Sen. Hope Uzodinma, Hon. Minister of Works Engr. Dave Umahi, members of the APC National Working Committee, and other distinguished APC members for their warm welcome.<\/p>\n
“I look forward to our joint efforts in supporting Mr. President, as he addresses our nation\u2019s challenges and shapes a brighter future for our people,” Anyim added.<\/p>\n
Anyim also extended his appreciation to the people of Ebonyi State for their unwavering support and trust. He emphasized the importance of unity and dedication to the well-being of citizens and expressed confidence in achieving remarkable success together.<\/p>\n
“To the good people of Ebonyi State, your unwavering support and trust have been invaluable. I look forward to us all working together to support our governor as he continues to deliver on his ‘Ebonyi people’s charter of needs’ agenda,” Anyim stated.<\/p>\n
Highlighting the collective strength in unity, Anyim stressed the need for joint efforts to support the governor and fulfill the developmental agenda of the state.<\/p>\n
“Our strength lies in our unity and dedication to the well-being of our citizens. I am confident that together, we will achieve remarkable success and change the narrative about our state and country, not minding how rough the road ahead may be,” he said.<\/p>\n
