Thirteen governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gathered in Enugu yesterday ahead of the anticipated PDP Governors Forum meeting scheduled for today.<\/p>\n
Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State warmly welcomed the governors as they arrived at the Government House to participate in the upcoming discussions.<\/p>\n
Among those received by Governor Mbah was Bala Mohammed, the chairman of the forum and governor of Bauchi State. Also present were Governors Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Umo Eno (Akwa-Ibom), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), Agbu Kefas (Taraba), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), and Ahmed Fintiri (Adamawa).<\/p>\n
As of the latest update, Governors Ademola Adeleke of Osun State and Douye Diri of Bayelsa State were expected to join the gathering.<\/p>\n
While the specific agenda of the meeting was not disclosed, discussions are anticipated to revolve around upcoming party congresses, the gubernatorial elections in Edo and Ondo States, internal challenges within the PDP, and national issues.<\/p>\n
