{"id":38978,"date":"2024-07-16T09:03:36","date_gmt":"2024-07-16T09:03:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=38978"},"modified":"2024-07-16T09:03:36","modified_gmt":"2024-07-16T09:03:36","slug":"federal-govt-repatriates-190-nigerians-from-uae","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2024\/07\/16\/federal-govt-repatriates-190-nigerians-from-uae\/","title":{"rendered":"Federal Gov\u2019t Repatriates 190 Nigerians From UAE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A total of 190 Nigerians have been repatriated by the Federal Government from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">According to a statement by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), signed by its Director General, North Central Zone, Bashir Garga, on Tuesday, the returnees were received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at 5:57 am by a combined team of government officials led by NEMA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">NEMA said the returnees have been profiled and documented by the relevant agencies, and sensitised to \u201cbehave with decorum and responsibility\u201d on their return to Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">\u201cThe federal government urges all Nigerians, wherever they may be, to act as exemplary ambassadors of their country, upholding the fundamental values of patriotism, rule of law, decency and integrity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">It would be recalled that the Federal Government also repatriated a total of 542 from UAE in October 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A total of 190 Nigerians have been repatriated by the Federal Government from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
