This reminder was communicated through a statement shared alongside a video on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>In its statement, NERC emphasized that the responsibility for providing these essential materials lies with the distribution companies (DisCos), not the consumers. &#8220;Is your distribution company expecting you to buy transformers, cables, or poles? Don\u2019t! It is the DisCo\u2019s obligation, not yours!\u201d NERC declared emphatically.<\/p>\n<p>The regulatory body urged consumers to report any instances of coercion or delays by the DisCos in supplying necessary materials. &#8220;Report any coercion to purchase, or delays in providing these materials to NERC for prompt action,&#8221; the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure swift and effective responses to such complaints, NERC has established dedicated channels for reporting issues related to network investments.
