In a statement issued on Sunday by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, President Tinubu expressed heartfelt condolences to the victims\u2019 families and the Borno State Government. He characterized the attacks as a clear sign of terrorists\u2019 desperation, highlighting the pressure they face and the success in degrading their ability to launch large-scale offensives.<\/p>\n
President Tinubu affirmed that those responsible for such wanton violence will face justice, emphasizing that these cowardly acts are isolated incidents. He reassured the nation that his administration remains committed to securing citizens and will intensify efforts to eliminate those who threaten peace, disrupt law and order, and take innocent lives.<\/p>\n
In a separate response, the United States Government also condemned the attacks in strong terms, describing them as horrific and demonstrating a cruel disregard for human life. The U.S. Mission in Nigeria reiterated its commitment to collaborating with the Nigerian government to combat terrorism and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice swiftly.<\/p>\n
The statement from the U.S. extended deepest condolences to the families and friends of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
