This new &#8220;Hype&#8221; feature is being tested alongside the existing options of Comments, Like, and Share, providing another way for viewers to support creators.<\/p>\n<p>The official announcement states that the Hype feature will help creators gain more visibility and support from their audience. However, YouTube clarifies that Hypes will not influence the platform&#8217;s search and discovery algorithms. Additionally, viewers can only Hype a video if it has been published within the last seven days.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the Hype feature is being tested with a select group of YouTube Partner Program creators who have fewer than 500,000 subscribers. This initiative is aimed at smaller creators to help them gain more support from their community and increase their reach. Hyped videos will appear in the Explore section, distinct from the Trending section.<\/p>\n<p>Testing is underway in Brazil, Taiwan, and Turkey. YouTube has not specified if the Hype feature will be a paid function like Super Chat, Super Stickers, and Super Thanks.
