The newly enacted laws include:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1. Law to Repeal and Re-enact the Kogi State Local Government Service Commission Law 2014<\/p>\n<p>2. Law to Repeal and Re-enact the Kogi State Scholarship Board Edict, 1998<\/p>\n<p>3. Law to Establish the Kogi State Electricity Market and the Kogi State Electricity Regulatory Commission<\/p>\n<p>4. Law to Establish the Kogi State Anti-Corruption Agency<\/p>\n<p>5. Kogi State Commodity Exchange, Export Promotion and Market Development Agency Law<\/p>\n<p>6. Kogi State Information Technology Development Agency Law<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Governor Ododo encouraged the people of Kogi State to embrace these new laws, describing them as &#8220;people\u2019s laws.&#8221; He emphasized that the bills align with his commitment to transparency, accountability, and governance with the fear of God.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese laws will serve as catalysts for the rapid social and economic development of Kogi State, addressing critical aspects of the lives of our people,\u201d Ododo stated.
