In a statement released by the APC’s spokesperson, Yusuf Idris, the party expressed its viewpoint on the matter, highlighting what they perceive as inaccuracies in Governor Dauda Lawal’s accusations. They suggested that these allegations appeared to be a targeted attack on his predecessor, Bello Matawalle.<\/p>\n

“We want to unequivocally state that since governance is an ongoing process, Mr. Lawal is well-informed about the actual and accurate status of the project but has chosen to mislead the public due to his personal animosity and disdain for Matawalle,” the statement read.<\/p>\n
