Real Madrid forward, Kylian Mbappe has confirmed that he won\u2019t be playing at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.<\/p>\n

Recall that the men\u2019s Olympics football tournament begins on July 24, with the final on August 9.<\/p>\n

However, Mbappe, who is expected to be in action for France today in Euro 2024 against Austria said he wants to focus on his new challenge in Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the Olympics my club has a position which is very clear so that means I think I will not participate in the Olympics. That is how it is,\u201d Mbappe said.<\/p>\n

\u201cJoining a new team in September would not be the best way to begin my adventure,\u201d admitted Mbappe, who had previously stated a wish to be able to play for Thierry Henry\u2019s French Olympic team.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish the best to the France team. I will of course watch all their games as a spectator rather than an actor, and I hope they bring back the gold medal.\u201d<\/p>\n
