Finidi George #FinidiGeorge_FG has resigned from his #NGSuperEagles manager position.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The resignation comes shortly after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) opted to appoint a foreign coach to oversee the team, despite George being appointed as head coach in May.<\/p>\n<p>At 53 years old, George took over the managerial position after Jose Peseiro&#8217;s contract expired in February, having previously served as his assistant for 20 months.
