The letter detailed their grievances and called on management to address Musk\u2019s behavior on X (formerly Twitter) and to enforce a standard of acceptable conduct for all staff. The day after the letter was posted, four of the plaintiffs were dismissed, with the remaining plaintiffs being terminated after an investigation, according to the lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>In January, the Federal National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) also filed a complaint against SpaceX based on issues raised by nine former employees.<\/p>\n<p>The open letter urged SpaceX executives to condemn Musk\u2019s conduct on social media, citing instances such as Musk joking about rape accusations against him, which he has denied. &#8220;As our CEO and most prominent spokesperson, Elon is seen as the face of SpaceX\u2014every tweet that Elon sends is a de facto public statement by the company,&#8221; the letter stated, describing Musk\u2019s actions as a \u201cfrequent source of distraction and embarrassment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The plaintiffs are seeking unspecified monetary damages, arguing that Musk\u2019s tweets often mirrored inappropriate behaviors cited in SpaceX\u2019s employee training on appropriate conduct.
