Otse, who faced accusations of cyberbullying, was released from police custody on Monday upon meeting the bail terms, though the specific conditions of his bail have not been disclosed publicly.<\/p>\n<p>Otse was arraigned on May 22 and faced multiple charges related to cyberstalking. The Nigerian police accused him of posting offensive videos on his Instagram account and making indecent allegations against Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh. One of the charges claimed that Otse\u2019s videos contained information that was &#8220;grossly offensive, pornographic or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character.&#8221; Another charge alleged that Otse accused Iyabo Ojo of having an indecent sexual relationship with her daughter and that he claimed Tonto Dikeh was behind the gossip blog Gistlover.<\/p>\n<p>Despite denying all charges, the prosecution initially sought Otse\u2019s remand in prison. However, his legal team requested that he remain in police custody, which the court approved, leading to his transfer to the National Cybercrime Centre.<\/p>\n<p>VeryDarkMan\u2019s legal troubles began with his arrest on March 22, followed by his release on March 31. His lawyer revealed that the arrest stemmed from complaints filed by Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, and music producer Samklef.
