Fifteen Super Eagles players were involved in training in Uyo on Sunday in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic.<\/p>\n
This was revealed by the new Eagles Media Officer Promise Efoghe.<\/p>\n
The Eagles will host South Africa inside the Godswill Akpabio stadium on Friday 7, June 2024 in their third Group C game.<\/p>\n
On 10 June, the team will travel to Abidjan, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire to take on Benin Republic on matchday four.<\/p>\n
According to the Media Officer, 13 players trained on Sunday morning while two more arrived thereafter and 15 trained later in the evening.<\/p>\n
Efoghe then stated that eight more players are still being expected in camp ahead of the double header games.<\/p>\n
Among the 15 players in camp are Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Samuel Chukwueze, Stanley Nwabali, Terem Moffi, Victor Boniface and Raphael Onyedika.<\/p>\n
Others are Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Alhassan Yusuf, Chidozie Awaziem, Ojo Olorunleke, Ismaila Sodiq, Ibrahim Olawoyin and Benjamin Tanimu.<\/p>\n
<\/span>While the eight players still being expected are Maduka Okoye, Semi Ajayi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman and Paul Onuachu.<\/p>\n Players in camp:<\/strong><\/p>\n 1.
