His senatorial tenure lasted from December 5, 1992, until the Third Republic&#8217;s collapse on November 17, 1993, following a military coup led by General Sani Abacha.<\/p>\n<p>At the flag-off ceremony for the \u2018Nigeria, We Hail Thee\u2019 anthem held during a joint session of the Senate and House of Representatives in Abuja on Wednesday, President Tinubu urged lawmakers to fortify and perpetuate the nation&#8217;s democratic framework.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWithout this house (parliament), probably, I may not have found the path to the Presidency. It started all here. Please, continue to collaborate and work together. We have no other choice.
