Former president Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his first anniversary in office, calling on Nigerians to support the administration.<\/p>\n
Tinubu, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), took over from his party chieftain Buhari on May 29th, 2023. Marking one year into Tinubu\u2019s administration, Buhari on Tuesday wished him a successful stint as president.<\/p>\n
In a statement released by Buhari\u2019s spokesman Garba Shehu, the former president emphasized the importance of national unity and cooperation. “He also appealed to all citizens to continue to strengthen the thread of national unity and goodwill,\u201d Shehu said.<\/p>\n
Buhari encouraged Nigerians to support the Tinubu administration in its endeavors to build a prosperous and unified nation. \u201cHe also appealed to them to give their blessings and support to the Tinubu administration, so that it can succeed in its efforts to build the Nigeria of our dreams,\u201d Shehu added.<\/p>\n
