Mrs. Margaret Adeseye, Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, confirmed the unfortunate incident, highlighting ongoing efforts to manage the situation in collaboration with various emergency responders within the oil and gas industry.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe fire resulted from a spillage of petroleum products within the perimeter of the tank farm as concerted efforts with various emergency responders within the oil and gas industry to contain the situation,\u201d Adeseye stated.<\/p>\n
Assuring the public of control over the emergency operation, Mr. Adeseye emphasized that measures were in place to prevent further escalation of the fire.<\/p>\n
