This decision was made during the NJC&#8217;s 105th plenary meeting held on May 15 and 16, 2024, as revealed in a statement issued by the Council\u2019s Director of Information, Soji Oye, on May 16, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The recommended appointments span various courts, including the Court of Appeal, High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Sharia Courts of Appeal, and Customary Courts of Appeal of several states.<\/p>\n<p>The NJC&#8217;s Interview Committee on Appointment of Judicial Officers conducted the selection process. The committee&#8217;s recommendations will be forwarded to the President and the respective state governors for approval.
