Four students from Nasarawa State University (NSUK), Keffi, were reportedly abducted by suspected kidnappers in the community of Angwan ka\u2019are in Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. The abduction took place outside the university campus around 10:30 pm on Monday.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The abducted students have been identified as Rahila Hanya (SLT 100 Level), Josephine Gershon (Computer Science 100 Level), Rosemary Samuel (Business Administration 100 Level), and Goodness Samuel (Geography 100 Level).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
University authorities are fully aware of the incident, as confirmed by Abraham Ekpo, the University Head of Information and Protocol. He stated that the university’s internal security is collaborating with other law enforcement agencies to secure the safe release of the abducted students.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Nasarawa State Police Command, represented by its Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, also confirmed the abduction. They received a distress call at approximately 12:55 am, reporting that unidentified armed individuals had invaded a house in Angwan ka\u2019are, Keffi.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
DSP Nansel further mentioned that the police, in coordination with the military, promptly responded to the distress call and initiated a search operation in the area. They are actively pursuing the abductors with the goal of rescuing the victims unharmed.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Commissioner of Police has authorized a comprehensive manhunt for the perpetrators to ensure the safe recovery of the abducted students.<\/p>\n

Recent times have witnessed a surge in criminal activities, including incidents of male private manhood disappearance, rape, kidnappings, and other crimes in Keffi Local Government Area, particularly within the university community and areas like Angwan Lambu, the High Court, and other parts of the LGA.<\/p>\n
