Following the brutal murder of a Nigeria Customs Service officer in Kano, Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda has issued a decree calling for the murderers to be apprehended immediately.<\/p>\n
The governor gave this advice during Customs Controller-General Bashir Adewale’s condolence visit to Katsina on Thursday. Auwal Haruna, a customs helper, was brutally assassinated by suspected smugglers at the Gamji Makaho checkpoint on Dankama Road in Kaita Local Government Area on April 17th.<\/p>\n
Expressing his condolences, Governor Radda urged state security agencies to apprehend the fleeing suspects and ensure that they face the full weight of the law. He emphasized the importance of bringing the culprits to justice and offered his sympathy to the family of the deceased, as well as to the Customs Service.<\/p>\n
Governor Radda also highlighted the positive relationship between the customs and border communities in the state, stressing the need for its continuous reinforcement.<\/p>\n
In offering prayers for the departed officer, the governor commended his dedication to protecting the lives and properties of citizens, emphasizing the significance of his sacrifice.<\/p>\n
