Presco Plc has announced a dividend payout totaling N26.30 billion for the year ended 2023, representing N26.30 kobo per share, as declared by the company’s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n
During the reviewed year, the Board disbursed an interim dividend of N2.00 per 50 kobo share. Additionally, in accordance with section 426 of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA 2020) of Nigeria, Presco recommended a final dividend of N24.30 per share for approval by shareholders at the company\u2019s Annual General Meeting (AGM).<\/p>\n
The total dividend payout marks a remarkable 199% increase over the N8.800 billion disbursed in the previous year of 2022.<\/p>\n
This announcement was conveyed in the company\u2019s corporate action as reported to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).<\/p>\n
As per the statement released by the company, the final dividend of N24.30 per 50 kobo share will be electronically disbursed on Thursday, May 30th, 2024, to shareholders whose names are listed on the Register of Members as of the close of business on May 14th, 2024.
