Videos obtained by Abuja City Journal captured the mother’s emotional outcry, where she lamented the overcrowded classrooms, highlighting her payment of N350,000 tuition fees. In another video, she confronted school staff, accusing them of covering up her son’s death and pointing out individuals allegedly involved in the incident.<\/p>\n
Tensions escalated as a police officer reportedly threatened the protesters, leading to further unrest. The family had previously demanded access to Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) footage of the accident.<\/p>\n
Owned by Senator Joy Emodi, the BrickHall School is located in Abuja’s Cadastral Zone B11, Kaura. Senator Emodi, a former member of the Senate and Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on National Assembly Matters, serves as the school’s founder and Chairman.<\/p>\n
The death certificate issued by Excel Specialist Hospital, Abuja, revealed that Miguel was brought to the hospital unconscious after choking on meat during school feeding.
