Ugochinyere emphasized that despite the recent resurgence of fuel queues, investigations revealed the availability of petrol products. He attributed the queues to logistical challenges, including difficulties in transporting products from mother vessels to petrol stations and disruptions in offshore marine vessels.<\/p>\n

During the press briefing, Ugochinyere and Okojie expressed their concerns over the temporary inconvenience caused by the queues, assuring Nigerians that the issues causing the disruptions were being addressed. They urged citizens not to engage in panic buying, emphasizing the country’s storage capacity of over 1.5 billion litres, which can sustain the nation for over 30 days.<\/p>\n

The committees commended Speaker Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass, Ph.D, for his proactive involvement in addressing the situation. They also appreciated the efforts of stakeholders in the distribution value chain, including NNPCL, NMDPRA, PETROAN, NARTO, and others, in resolving the temporary disruption.<\/p>\n
