Speaking to the media in Lagos on Monday, Professor Oloyede unveiled a novel procedure for admission acceptance. Candidates can now transmit their acceptance or rejection of admission offers via their dedicated telephone lines to 55019\/66019. Alternatively, they can personally endorse or decline admission offers, including program changes, using their fingerprint at an authorized CBT center or any JAMB office.<\/p>\n

Professor Oloyede emphasized that these new admission decision methods aim to safeguard candidates’ information and maintain the integrity of the admission process. He highlighted the heightened significance of candidates’ registered telephone (SIM) numbers, now essential for conducting increasingly sensitive operations.<\/p>\n

In negotiations with the NCC, JAMB seeks to establish dedicated SIMs for students with restricted functionalities to enhance security and streamline communication processes.<\/p>\n
