The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has issued a cautionary statement directed at the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Nyesome Wike, regarding his plans to partner with Israeli security experts to enhance security measures in Abuja.<\/p>\n

In a statement released on Thursday, Professor Ishaq Akintola, the Executive Director of MURIC, expressed his apprehensions concerning Wike’s intentions. Akintola argued that entrusting Nigeria’s security to Israel is a matter of concern, as Israel itself has been viewed as a security threat by numerous countries across the globe.<\/p>\n

He further pointed out that Israel has a history of human rights violations and a lack of respect for individuals of different faiths. Akintola emphasized that the state of Israel’s actions often defy international norms and standards.<\/p>\n

MURIC’s Executive Director went on to warn that any collaboration with Israel could potentially worsen Nigeria’s security challenges, elevating them from a local crisis to an international conflict. He specifically raised concerns about the involvement of MOSSAD, Israel’s secretive intelligence agency, and the potential for Nigeria to become a focal point for global espionage rivalry involving organizations such as the American CIA and the Russian SVR and FSB.<\/p>\n
