In Europe, as much proved enough for Los Blancos to battle their way beyond Manchester City, to clinch a place in the semi-finals of the Champions League.<\/p>\n
And, back in La Liga, three wins from three assured that the capital giants opened up an unassailable lead atop the table, all set to wrestle back the Spanish top-flight title from arch rivals Barcelona.<\/p>\n
