Two persons has been killed in a recent attack by some men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, on Sunday night, at a community in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State.<\/p>\n
The victims identified as Agness Salahu, 28; and Ademu Efugoga, 25, as gathered by reporters were attacked between Egba and Ogbaulu communities of Agatu on their way from an event around 6pm.<\/p>\n
Barrister Napoleon Otache, a cousin to the deceased, who confirmed the incident to newsmen, lamented that Agatu is currently under siege.<\/p>\n
He lamented on the lack of security presence in the area while the attackers continue to unleash terror on the land.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis insecurity in our land has assumed a dangerous dimension.<\/p>\n
\u201cHelp of the federal government is urgently needed as Agatu and Apa enclave has been under siege by the fulani terrorists.\u201d<\/p>\n
