During an interview on Arise TV&#8217;s Morning Show aired by TRIBUNE ONLINE on Thursday, he highlighted instances where diversity and meritocracy are being compromised.<\/p>\n<p>Kukah cited examples such as the construction of a mosque at the University of Nigeria in Nsukka and his convocation address at a university in Calabar, where the Chief Imam approached him for congratulations afterward. However, he noted a contrasting situation in Northern Nigeria, where universities like Usman Dan Fodio and Bayero University have resisted the establishment of churches on their campuses, despite individuals like Usman Dan Fodio being over 40 years old.<\/p>\n<p>The Bishop expressed concerns about the ramifications of such extremism, particularly in public life, emphasizing the importance of integration and interaction among students during their formative years.
