Highlighting the overcrowding challenges faced by correctional centers, the minister emphasized the need to transfer facilities to more suitable locations away from city centers for improved conditions.<\/p>\n

He noted that the Suleja facility, built in 1914 to accommodate 250 inmates, was currently housing 499 individuals, underscoring the urgency for relocation.<\/p>\n
