Since its reactivation on April 13, 2024, by NNPC Ltd. and its partners, production has averaged 8,000 barrels per day, with expectations to reach 12,000 barrels per day once fully ramped up within 30 days.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Awoba Field is anticipated to significantly boost gas supply to the power sector and other gas-based industries. The field, located in the mangrove swamp south of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, covers OMLs 18 and 24 and is managed by NNPC Upstream Investment Management Services (NUIMS).
