Speaking to journalists in Kaduna after handing over leadership of the unit to his successor, Ahamdu Shuaibu, Mr. Wada emphasized the importance of public awareness and adherence to government policies in combating such activities.<\/p>\n
Reflecting on his tenure, Mr. Wada highlighted both achievements and challenges faced during his leadership. He credited the successful containment of smuggling activities within the zone to the unwavering support of Comptroller-General Adewale Adeniyi.<\/p>\n
Under his stewardship, FOU Zone \u2018B\u2019 Kaduna witnessed significant advancements and effective management, spanning a period of six months.<\/p>\n
As he prepares to assume a new role at the Nigeria Customs Service headquarters in Abuja, Mr. Wada urged his colleagues to maintain the momentum in combating smuggling and fostering organizational commitment.<\/p>\n
