The marine operatives of the police command in Anambra have recovered the three bodies of the remaining members of the movie cast involved in a boat crash.<\/p>\n

The command\u2019s spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, disclosed this in a press release shared on the command\u2019s official X handle on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo of the bodies were recovered yesterday 11th April, 2024 while the last was washed in by the tide this morning.<\/p>\n

All the bodies have been deposited in a hospital mortuary in Asaba while the President of the Guild of Actors and Actresses has been notified of the recovery,\u201d the cop said.<\/p>\n

The police commissioner, Aderemi Adeoye, urged water commuters to be safety conscious and avoid acts that may jeopardise their safety and that of others while travelling on water.<\/p>\n

Mr Adeoye commended the command\u2019s marine unit for their dedication.<\/p>\n

He said the police would conduct an investigation to ascertain the cause of the crash.<\/p>\n
