The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has announced the introduction of the Afreximbank Policy Research Working Paper Series (APRWPS). In a statement released by Vincent Musumba, spokesman for Afreximbank, the bank invites authors to submit manuscripts for publication in the APRWPS.<\/p>\n
Musumba explained that the APRWPS will serve as a platform for Afreximbank staff, academics, scholars, institutions, and practitioners to share research findings on African trade, trade finance, and development topics. This initiative aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and address knowledge gaps, thereby enhancing the bank\u2019s visibility in research and knowledge generation.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Musumba highlighted that the APRWPS will contribute to policy advisory, formulation, and implementation among member states. The series is designed to complement Afreximbank\u2019s existing research publications, including the Journal of African Trade, the Contemporary Issues in African Trade and Trade Finance, the African Trade Report, and the Distinguished Lecture Series.<\/p>\n
Yemi Kale, Managing Director and Group Chief Economist of Afreximbank, emphasized that the APRWPS aims to promote research and knowledge dissemination in development economics, trade, and trade finance relevant to Africa\u2019s development. He stressed its significance in enhancing Africa’s global image through contributions to global research and knowledge production.<\/p>\n
