During the two-day operation, which covered areas such as Fagba Rail Track, Iju-Ishaga, Abattoir, and Pen Cinema, the task force encountered resistance from miscreants who supported the okada operators in resisting arrest. However, the task force’s tactical and combatant superiority allowed them to subdue the opposition and carry out the operation successfully. Chairman Jejeloye emphasized the importance of clearing the rail tracks of obstructions to improve safety for residents, passersby, and commuters, while also enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the area.<\/p>\n
The task force’s actions come in the wake of ongoing efforts by the Lagos State Government to regulate commercial motorcycle operations and ensure safety on major highways.
