Compared to the same period in 2022, the number of electricity customers saw a significant uptick of 9.59% year-on-year, reaching 12.12 million in Q4 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Within the consumer segment, the report delineates between metered and estimated customers. In Q4 2023, metered customers totaled 5.61 million, showing a marginal decline from the previous quarter. Conversely, estimated customers experienced a 3.34% decrease, totaling 5.83 million during the same period.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In terms of revenue collection, electricity distribution companies amassed N294.95 billion in Q4 2023, indicating a substantial increase of 26.96% compared to the same period in 2022.
