At least three students of Abia State University (ABSU) have died in a fatal car crash that occurred on Thursday, March 21, 2024. It was gathered that the students, from the department of medicine and surgery, were heading to Aba from Uturu after attending the induction ceremony of their colleagues when the tragic accident occurred.<\/p>\n

Two other students, who sustained severe injuries, have been hospitalized while one student escaped unhurt.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred while they were returning to Abia State University Teaching Hospital after attending the 30th Induction Ceremony of their colleagues.<\/p>\n

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the medical students of @OfficialABSUMSA and their families during this difficult time. May they find comfort and strength in the midst of this profound loss.<\/p>\n

Abia State medical students association mourns and already released a statement today signed by their president and secretary.<\/p>\n
