Nigerian musician, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has addressed the controversy surrounding his decision to exhume his mother’s body for reburial.<\/p>\n

The ‘Zazu’ singer recently garnered attention after exhuming his mother’s remains and reinterred them.<\/p>\n

In a viral video circulating on X platform, Portable offered insight into his actions, explaining that the land where his mother was initially buried had been sold.<\/p>\n

“At the tender age of 13, I lost my mother. I made the decision to exhume her body because the land where she rested was sold,” he stated.<\/p>\n
