Nigerian musician Iyanya has revealed that he unknowingly supported his former Ghanaian girlfriend, actress Yvonne Nelson’s controversial memoir, ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.’<\/p>\n
In a section titled “Iyanya And My Love Life,” Nelson detailed her relationship with Iyanya and her discovery of his infidelity with Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh.<\/p>\n
During a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, Iyanya admitted to endorsing the book without being aware of its contents.<\/p>\n
Despite previously promising to address Nelson’s accusations when the book was released, Iyanya stated that he is not prepared to respond to the allegations of infidelity from his ex-girlfriend.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that he and Nelson remain on good terms and continue to communicate regularly.<\/p>\n
Iyanya remarked, “I endorsed Yvonne Nelson’s book without knowing I was included. We were still friendly at the time, so I was unaware of my involvement. There was a lot of buzz when the book was released, with people informing me of my inclusion. However, I have yet to read it.<\/p>\n
“While I had intended to address the allegations she made in her book, I’m not ready to respond at this time. I choose not to engage with such matters, as being in the public eye comes with its challenges.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
