Fasipe, an employee of the Ekiti State Hospital Management Board, was apprehended on allegations of forging his registration certificate with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), thereby falsely presenting himself as a qualified doctor.<\/p>\n
Dr. Babatunde Rosiji, Chairman of NMA Ekiti State, and Dr. Moses Dada, the Secretary, issued a statement on Tuesday, condemning Fasipe’s actions and affirming the association’s commitment to rooting out impostors from the medical profession. The association revealed that Fasipe had previously served as a member of the Ekiti NMA State Officers’ Committee before his arrest.<\/p>\n
The NMA Ekiti State expressed deep concern over the discovery of Fasipe’s fraudulent activities and highlighted their collaboration with the State Government, particularly the Ministry of Health and Human Services, in addressing medical malpractice.<\/p>\n
