He noted that many drivers tend to speed during the &#8216;Ember&#8217; months, which can lead to crashes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Eshiet encouraged both transport companies and private vehicle owners to install speed limiting devices. These devices help control a vehicle&#8217;s speed and can prevent accidents. The FRSC uses radar speed guns to monitor vehicle speeds, and drivers caught overspeeding are issued tickets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Eshiet advised drivers to avoid consuming alcohol before embarking on their journeys. He urged the public to cooperate with the FRSC to ensure safer roads.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to avoiding alcohol, Eshiet emphasized the importance of drivers not using drugs or substances that impair their vision and judgment while driving.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The primary goal of these safety measures is to save lives. Eshiet urged all drivers to obey traffic rules and cooperate with FRSC officials.
