JAMB’s Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, clarified that the sender of the messages was not affiliated with JAMB but a co-student who accessed the girl’s information from her phone. This underscores the importance of ensuring candidates are of appropriate age for university education, with Oloyede stressing the need for parental responsibility in registering for the exam.<\/p>\n
Oloyede emphasized that the incident highlights the risks of allowing minors to participate in UTME and urged parents to ensure their children are mature enough before registering.<\/p>\n
